Taster Sessions

Fancy giving it a go? Get in touch about our have-a-go group sessions!

This is not an instructional course but more of a 2-hour archery experience for fun or for a person to see if they would like to take up the sport and, if so, to subsequently sign up to and undergo the required Beginner’s Course in order to join Canterbury Archers, or any other archery club as a new archer.

Canterbury Archers hold group taster sessions for £15 per head.

Minimum number of persons per session is 10 up to a maximum of 24. We will add individual and groups of participants together to form each taster session.

The club welcolmes all archers including those with disabilities and we try to accomodate people where we can. If you are interested in taking part in one of our taster sessions, please contact the organiser in advance at canterburyarchers@gmail.com to discuss your needs.

Usually a 2-hour session.

These taster sessions are ideal for team building with co-workers, birthday parties or archery experiences.

Min age 10 years olds.

We only run these sessions from May - October.

Please note, the session fee is non-refundable – however if a person is unable to attend a date they have booked it can be transferred to another date offered.

Dress Code

• Close-fitting clothing needs to be worn, to prevent bowstring snagging
• Long hair must be tied back
• All jewellery needs to be removed
• No open toe footwear
